Can facts and numbers express what the Bioregion is?

It's growing and evolving by the minute! But as of now, the timeline of the Bioregion goes like this:

2018 - The seed of the Bioregion idea is sown by GreenFest. Since then, the idea has grown through dialogue between stakeholders: citizens, businesses, representatives of local government and non-governmental organisations

17 September 2022 - GreenFest discussion "GNP - the first Bioregion in Latvia. What kind of world will we leave for future generations?" 

31 March 2023 - Bioregion Think Tank where stakeholders outlined the current concept of the Bioregion

25 October 2023 - First Bioregion Forum “Mission: creating a Bioregion in the Gauja National Park”

Summer 2024 - design sprint to define the governance model of the Bioregion and prototype the engagement platform

2 October 2024 - Bioregion receives the State Chancellery's Award for a bold and innovative initiative

14 May 2025 - Second Bioregional Forum on “Local Economy, Circularity and Organic Food”
